Some may ask the question, “How important is your attire for a photo shoot?” Loud and clear we declare, “Very!”

Choosing the correct outfit is as important as the difference between a rainy day and sunny day. You can smile when you see the photos or cry.

Today however, we are focusing on ‘What to Wear – Family’.

Now let’s go ahead and ask the question of “Should we all match?” – Well, you can but, it’s not always necessary. Unless you match as a family daily…why match in the photos? It depends on the look you want, whether formal, casual etc.

This is a time to show who you are. The kids can wear their favorite outfits. Their outfits can be a combination of all the different personalities that make up your family but, please make sure everyone is comfortable. Ensure it is something you can move around in… something you can sit, stand, walk, and move freely in.

Think about color. Colors work well, but not a lot of busy patterns or labels that may distract from the person. Consider, cream or black tops and blue jeans. Or maybe, blues, purples & pinks with jeans or khaki. When you put them together, they should all reflect a team!

Speaking of comfort, remember snacks and drinks for your kids. They can also be used as bribes 🙂
